The Electrical Service / Commissioning engineers position is commutable from: Rochdale / Bury / Oldham / Bolton.

The Electrical Service / Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the following and will hold the following experience: 

  • Carry out any requests for service, calibration, commissioning and client training in the UK and worldwide from management, service department manager, sales, projects and technical department 
  • Assist the company to fulfill all contract requirements relating to existing customers with service contracts and future customers 
  • Provide rapid response quotations for spares (as required) and any remedial or extra service work relating to site visits and health checks. 
  • Wherever possible assist in the pre-delivery testing of equipment and control panels in line with our company quality and safety systems. 
  • Work within a safe manner 
  • Carry out both Electrical and mechanical duties / requirements on site. 
  • Ideally the right individual will hold Experience within Food / Manufacturing Environments 
  • PLC knowledge - Fault finding abilities – Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubishi  
  • Additional experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics, AC & DC conveyor systems, packaging machinery, temp Controllers & gear-boxes 
  • Flexibility is key as you will be traveling: 80% of our work is UK based & 20% of our work can be world-wide and this tends to be commissioning. 

Ideally we are looking an Apprentice trained engineer holding a HNC in electrical engineering, also holding their 18th Edition.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Another brilliant opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join an expanding fleet of engineers for a company based near Telford. My client is a specialist in all types of engineering. 

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to install, commission and service CNC machines, Presses and Saws. You will also be attending breakdowns and providing a planned maintenance service for clients across the UK. This role will require you to travel and occasionally stop overnight. 

Field Service Engineer Benefits:

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician role for a leading global organisation within the Manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team to provide breakdown cover and maintain machinery and Automation equipment.

The shifts for the Maintenance Electrician role are 4 on 4 off days and nights 6-6.

  • Salary £39,268

Along with an NVQ Level 3/ ONC / HNC / HND / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition trained. The ideal Maintenance Electrician must come from a manufacturing or packaging environment. Injection Mould experience would also be beneficial. 

The Maintenance Electrician role will include and require you to have the following experience:

  • To provide shift breakdown cover on all machines, automation equipment and any ancillary equipment.
  • To provide PPM on machines, automation equipment and any ancillary equipment.
  • To work in an efficient and safe manner on breakdown repairs on all equipment
  • To support and implement progressive improvements of our existing manufacturing automation processes working with both internal and external resources

We are keen to talk to Maintenance Engineers and Multi Skilled Engineers with an Electrical bias who can commute to Leicester, Corby, Peterborough, and Grantham.
