We are currently assisting a Leading Global Engineering organisations based in North-West, we are assisting in their search for an Electrical biased Maintenance engineer to join the already Established Maintenance team.

This Maintenance electrician role is commutable from the following locations: Preston / Burnley / Blackburn / Blackpool

Shift the Maintenance electrician will be required to work: Continental shifts - classed as a 4shift rota - X2 12 Hour Nights - X2 12-Hour Days - Rotating for 8 weeks 48HR X4 / then they will work X4 36 Hours rotating days and nights 

Responsibilities & Requirements: 

  • PLC’s experience required – Strong fault-finding abilities – Siemens S7 & Allen Bradley. 
  • Experience with Safety Controls / AC & DC Motors and Drives. (Essential experience with Safety Controls). 
  • Strong Proven Electrical fault-finding abilities. 
  • Previous Experience within Civil engineering and previous proven experience within a similar role.  
  • You will be required to carry out all PPM throughout. 
  • Hold great communication skills. 
  • Provide a prompt and accurate response to technical enquires 
  • Build strong working relationships cross-functionally providing technical support to internal customers as required including external seal, design and customer services
  • Receive and co-ordinate an appropriate response to MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) enquiries, including technical advice, feasibility solutions and/or summarising of information for further processing.
  • Validate application suggestions of internal customers up to an appropriate risk level following training.
  • Must be apprenticed trained holding a BEng or MEng degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering / as well as a Formal qualification in Electrical Engineering.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Another brilliant opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join an expanding fleet of engineers for a company based near Telford. My client is a specialist in all types of engineering. 

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to install, commission and service CNC machines, Presses and Saws. You will also be attending breakdowns and providing a planned maintenance service for clients across the UK. This role will require you to travel and occasionally stop overnight. 

Field Service Engineer Benefits:

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician role for a leading global organisation within the Manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team to provide breakdown cover and maintain machinery and Automation equipment.

The shifts for the Maintenance Electrician role are 4 on 4 off days and nights 6-6.

Along with an NVQ Level 3/ ONC / HNC / HND / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition trained. The ideal Maintenance Electrician must come from a manufacturing or packaging environment. Injection Mould experience would also be beneficial. 

The Maintenance Electrician role will include and require you to have the following experience:

  • To provide shift breakdown cover on all machines, automation equipment and any ancillary equipment.
  • To provide PPM on machines, automation equipment and any ancillary equipment.
  • To work in an efficient and safe manner on breakdown repairs on all equipment
  • To support and implement progressive improvements of our existing manufacturing automation processes working with both internal and external resources

We are keen to talk to Maintenance Engineers and Multi Skilled Engineers with an Electrical bias who can commute to Leicester, Corby, Peterborough, and Grantham.
