As Health, Safety and Environmental Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring the effectiveness of the EHS Department

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote EHS on site
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are developed and maintained
  • Management of 45001 and 14001
  • Accident and incident investigations
  • Review audit requirements
  • Keep up to date with legislation
  • Manage legislation register
  • Organise HSE training sessions
  • Act as Fire Safety Officer on site
  • Manage COSHH assessments
  • Process hazard assessments, HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA and HFA

REQUIREMENTS

  • It is essential that you have relevant Health, Safety and Environmental experience from within a manufacturing environment
  • Your experience needs to be UK based
  • Previous experience of Risk Assessments including COSHH
  • Knowledge of a COMAH site would be highly desirable
  • Essential that you have 45001 and 14001 experience
  • NEBOSH level 3
  • IOSH managing safely
  • Lead Auditor

Role Overview

The Stores Supervisor will oversee order processing and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You will implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards and continuing to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance. 


Stores Supervisor Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Stores Supervisor
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
  • Knowledge of stores software packages and MS office proficiency
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

Stores Supervisor Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, despatching and assuring quality of goods
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of stores activities and employees performance 
  • Organise and maintain inventory and storage area
  • Ensure shipments and inventory transactions accuracy
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees, building a strong team
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload
  • Interface with other departments to answer questions or solve problems
  • Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project Stores status
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

PRESS SETTER / OPEAROR

We are offering an exceptional opportunity for a PRESS SETTER / OPERATOR

We are based in the heart of the Black Country, and have been established for many many years.  

Our customer base is solid and secure with our biggest customer, just having committed to staying in the UK for the next few years.  This is creating the need for a Press Setter / Operator to strengthen our Toolroom.

  • Setting and Operating Presses experience
  • Ideally progression pressing experience, however training is being offered for the right person
  • ROSPA Press Setting certificate, though again, will support the achieve for the right person
  • Fork- Lift Truck - licence – 2t to 5t – again training is offered

Set shifts being offered – 

  • 6.00am – 2pm  OR
  • 7.30am – 16.30pm OR

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with Quality on analysis of waste
  • Ensure all packaged process waste are managed and disposed in accordance with UK legislation

RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly to meet deadlines
  • Adhere to procedures outlined in the Quality Management System (QMS) and follow decisions made during Management Reviews
  • Support the execution of the combined Internal Audit Schedule

  • Proven experience in roles such as Quality Coordinator, Quality Assurance, or similar, with a solid understanding of chemical processes
  • In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with product testing and quality control systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in techniques such as 5 Whys, 8D, Ishikawa, and CAPA
  • A collaborative mindset, with a desire to work with team members to enhance processes and improve product quality
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including maintaining high standards of housekeeping
  • Proficient in documentation practices and requirements
  • Sound knowledge of sampling methods and product testing

Duties and requirements the Maintenance engineer will hold and be responsible for: 

  • Previous experience within a Heavy Manufacturing Environment 
  • Proven experience within a Similar Role, Conducting Mechanical repairs 
  • Experience with Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Conveyor systems, Granulators, Lifting equipment.  
  • Welding and Fabrication abilities
  • Carry out essential maintenance on all aspects of the production lines.
  • Work through a programme of PPM and helping develop the agility maintenance system.
  • Improve factory OEE through development and innovation of the production facility.
  • Order and Collect Spare Mechanical materials.
  • Maintain and monitor the machines and Equipment. 
  • Ensure that all plant and machinery s kept in good working condition. 

Qualification the Maintenance Engineer will hold: 

  • Apprenticeship Trained 
  • BTEC ONC & BTEC HNC Mechanical engineering
