A busy organisation on the Wigan area, now have a requirement for an Analytical Chemist. Their products and services are in demand, giving them key worker status, giving this role a huge amount of stability and long - term progression.
This would suit either an experienced Chemist, or someone who has just graduated in Chemistry, who is looking for their first Chemist role.
DUTIES
- Undertake a range of analytical techniques and methods of recording experiments
- Analysis of compounds and mixtures
- Using laboratory machinery, test equipment i.e spectrophotometer, rapid moisture equipment and Ion Chromotography
- Chemical analysis
- Sieve and hardness tests
- Record test results
- Prepare samples
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum HNC level entry
- Relevant Chemist experience
- If you have recently graduated this will also be considered, if the Degree is Chemistry related
- Strong analysis skills
- An Analytical thinker
- Excellent time management skills
