We are currently recruiting for an International organisation based in the North West who are now looking to strengthen their already established maintenance team for a Maintenance Team Leader with an electrically biased background.

Ideally the Maintenance Team Leader will have the following: 

  • Previous Team-leader / Supervisory experience within a Maintenance team. 
  • Great Leader-ship skills is crucial to the role / and the ability to communicate at all levels. 
  • Ideally previous experience within a Chemical / Heavy Environment. 
  • Electrically biased background is key to the role. 
  • PLC Knowledge – Fault finding abilities with Siemens. 
  • Experience within Control and Instrumentation maintenance. 
  • Knowledge with ECI systems and SCADA systems. 
  • Ideally knowledge with CNC machinery would be at an advantage. 
  • Apprentice Trained 
  • Hold a HNC in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

As the Maintenance Engineer with Mechanical Bias, your duties will include:

  • Respond to and provide an immediate maintenance service.
  • Maintain / Repair plant and equipment (both under a PM schedule and breakdowns)
  • To carry out safety checks of machines, equipment and plant and complete periodic safety records.
  • General daily maintenance of building and facilities, internal and external
  • Design, manufacture and source special purpose jigs, etc when required
