MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

The Maintenance Electrician position is commutable from the following locations: Darlington / Middlesbrough / Hartlepool / Durham 

The Maintenance Electrician will be required to work the following shift: Continental 4on-4off – 2days – 2nights – 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am

Duties and requirements the Maintenance Electrician will hold and be responsible for: 

  • Carrying out essential maintenance on all aspects of the production lines
  • Working through a programme of PPM and helping develop the agility maintenance system. 
  • Attending breakdowns, 
  • Ensuring machine safety standards are kept to the highest level and ensuring critical spares are maintained to ensure minimal downtime of the machinery. 
  • Improving factory OEE through development and innovation of the production facility.  
  • Health and Safety is paramount, and a good knowledge of Health and Safety and risk assessing is a must, along with an excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Previous experience within a Heavy Manufacturing Environment 
  • Proven experience within a Similar Maintenance electrician role 
  • Ideally, we need this individual to hold experience with the following: Conveyor Systems, Lifting equipment, Motors and Drives, Control systems. 
  • Fault finding abilities with Siemens S7 – this is essential – Must have. 
  • Holding High standards of fault-finding abilities 
  • Must have good Verbal and Written and IT Skills 
  • Great communication skills are key, and we are looking for individual to communicate at all levels. 
  • Full Electrical Apprenticeship
  • ONC / HNC in Electrical maintenance engineering.

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Another brilliant opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join an expanding fleet of engineers for a company based near Telford. My client is a specialist in all types of engineering. 

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be required to install, commission and service CNC machines, Presses and Saws. You will also be attending breakdowns and providing a planned maintenance service for clients across the UK. This role will require you to travel and occasionally stop overnight. 

Field Service Engineer Benefits:

  • 18th Edition.
  • NVQ Level 3 (Electrical or Mechanical). 
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience. 
  • 3-Phase knowledge. 
  • Strong fault-finding abilities.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician role for a leading global organisation within the Manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team to provide breakdown cover and maintain machinery and Automation equipment.

The shifts for the Maintenance Electrician role are 4 on 4 off days and nights 6-6.

  • Salary £39,268 
  • 23 Days Holiday

  • Sick pay based on length of service, up to 24 weeks

Along with an NVQ Level 3/ ONC / HNC / HND / City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition trained. The ideal Maintenance Electrician must come from a manufacturing or packaging environment. Injection Mould experience would also be beneficial. 

The Maintenance Electrician role will include and require you to have the following experience:

  • To provide shift breakdown cover on all machines, automation equipment and any ancillary equipment.
  • To provide PPM on machines, automation equipment and any ancillary equipment.
  • To work in an efficient and safe manner on breakdown repairs on all equipment
  • To support and implement progressive improvements of our existing manufacturing automation processes working with both internal and external resources

We are keen to talk to Maintenance Engineers and Multi Skilled Engineers with an Electrical bias who can commute to Leicester, Corby, Peterborough, and Grantham.
