DUTIES:

  • Consistently Win New Business 
  • Identify, contact and qualify new sales prospects
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms & conditions to meet both client company needs
  • Carry out sales visits to prospective customers and develop new relationships
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers and nurture ongoing relationships

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in business-to-business sales in a technical field is essential
  • Technical injection moulding background would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Professional and personable manner, both face to face and via telephone and email
  • Self-motivated, reliable and able to work unsupervised
  • Experience working with Key Decision Makers, Partners and Stakeholders

Technical Sales Engineer Duties:

  • Converting commercial orders into customer orders and ensuring customer requirements are clearly passed on to operations team
  • Customer visits (throughout Europe and beyond) – ~30% time
  • Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner
  • Produce clear agendas for customer meetings and promote and lead cross functional internal and customer meetings
  • Contributing to monthly sales and marketing meetings

Technical Sakles Engineer Requirements:

  • Batchelor’s degree in an Engineering related discipline is essential
  • Previous experience of managing bespoke complex commercial proposals and design
  • Ability to relate to and communicate with customers/suppliers at all business levels
  • Comfortable traveling internationally and working independently
  • Have a strong understanding of international trade and finance 
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence
