Technical Engineer Role Purpose

The purpose of the Technical Engineer is to design specific adaptations focusing upon customer functionality, ease of on-site installation, and manufacturing repeatability throughout the design process. The procedure needs to deliver source material for additional stakeholders within the business targeting the prompt and efficient delivery of new products to the market.

This is a varied role, being hands-on, with the ability to read and create technical drawings.

Senior Design Engineer Role

CAD Technician Candidate Requirements

  • Candidates ideally should have a structural background with an understanding of superstructure loading assessments.

CAD Technician Key Responsibilities

Duties of a Product Manager

  • The primary function of this position will be to support key and large customers with the design, specification and delivery of a Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical / Electronic products into a customer’s on-site equipment and machinery.

Lead Mechanical Development Engineer Key Responsibilities (this job description is not exhaustive; a full role description will be sent to you)

  • The Lead Mechanical Development Engineer will technically lead new product development projects from the feasibility phase through to implementation in production.
  • Work closely with other departments (Production, Production Engineering, Test and Validation, Purchasing, Quality, Product Management) during the new product development process to maximise the potential of new products with respect to design for manufacture and assembly, cost, performance, quality and reliability.

Do you have a background in supporting Engine, Powertrain, or Driveline DFM / NPI projects?

Reliability Engineer Duties: 

The Engineer will generally work autonomously on a Day-to-Day basis, but support will be in the department and at Senior Management level when required.

Working closely with the Design Team and Quality Department the role will perform the following daily duties:

  • Ideally a background in design and developing niche and bespoke products from concept through to final delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • A formal qualification in engineering
