I am recruiting on behalf of a unique client that are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer. The Maintenance Engineering team plays a key role in driving systematic improvements in the plant. You must thoroughly and accurately carry out daily checks on essential plant, equipment, and machinery as part of the company preventative maintenance schedule.

For the Maintenance Engineers role, you must be a Qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering) or time served experience, Qualified Multi-Skilled Engineer (60% + mechanical bias). Must have knowledge of Motors, Gearboxes and Hydraulic systems (fully Conversant). Exposure to PLC’s is not essential but preferred. Previous experience from an industrial Engineering environment (heavy plant equipment)

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

I am recruiting on a very exciting opportunity for a Technical Maintenance Engineer to be the point of contact (POC) for technical communication with equipment support teams when troubleshooting or developing improvements (MCT, Quadra, etc.).

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I am recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician on behalf of a company who has spent a lot of money in investment for the next few years.

The role of Maintenance Electrician will be to manage the maintenance and improve all fixed plant and facilities; assist in the preventative maintenance to ensure maximum availability, performance, and quality.

The shifts on offer are a 3-shift rotation of Mornings / Afternoons and Nights (Mornings – Mon to Thur 6-3 then Fri 6-4. Afternoons – Mon to Thur 2-10. Then Fri 9-5. Nights Mon-Thur 8-6) and a package of:

  • Salary £41,000+

Along with an NVQ Level 3 / ONC / City & Guilds the ideal Maintenance Electrician must have previous experience with industrial Electrical kit.

  • To maintain the plant through breakdown repair and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives on site to help improve the OEE of the plants.

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I have a huge opportunity for a Service Manager to join a global carbon company based near Tamworth. My clients are market leaders in plastic delivery / ancillary equipment.  

As a Service Manger you will oversee the service engineering team as well as the day-today running of the technical department. This is a customer facing role so good communication skills are essential.

Service Manager Duties:

  • Manage change documentation and creating standard Risk Assessments, ensuring all certificates have been produced and provided to the customer and engineers as required for smooth operations.
  • Provide and organise service training to engineers when required and serve as a mentor to the team.
  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and suitably make changes if required.
  • Interview candidates with the Technical Manager and hire resources as required to benefit the service team, including Contractors.
  • Carry out health and safety audits regularly on site (customer) of service engineers.
  • Check Engineers Work Sheets and maintain records on Microsoft Dynamics NAV and CRM.
  • Create manage and continually improve the breakdown call out working methods. 

Service Manager Requirements include: 

  • Degree or equivalent in engineering. 
  • Previous managerial experience.
  • Strong Electrically and Mechanically. 
  • Good communication skills. 
  • Be able to make decisions. 
  • Injection moulding experience would be advantageous.

Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor

  • On a daily basis as the sites Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for a small team of maintenance engineers undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to our specialist plant and equipment, that will require you to provide a “hands on” input, allied to managing onsite contractors, engineering stores and issuing permit to work whilst also being fully aware of health & safety legislation.
