Project Manager Salary and Benefits
- £42,000 - £48,000
- Company car or car allowance (£500 per month, £6,000 per year)
- 37.5 hours, Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:15pm, 12pm on Friday’s
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
- Early finish Friday’s

The Role
The purpose of the Project Manager role is to manage and coordinate projects and timetables within the company, to ensure all objectives are met, safely within timescale and budget.
It would be advantageous if the Project Manager had good working knowledge of electrical and civil engineering.
Some of the project work could be for export and therefore may include infrequent overseas visits.
Project Manager Person Specification
- Previous experience in Project / Contract Construction Managing is essential.
- Manufacturing awareness, along with electrical awareness would be a huge advantage.
- Any steel structure type experience would fit very well.
- Educated to HNC or equivalent is desirable.
- Health and Safety qualifications and Knowledge of Risk Assessments and method statements - highly desirable.
- Current CSCS card holder, i.e. Site Manager would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
- SMSTS card – preferable not essential.
- London Underground / Network Rail knowledge / previous working experience would be highly advantageous.
- Must possess excellent organisation and communication skills at all levels.
- Candidates must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Project Manager Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and monitoring of project programming, on site start up, delivery, method statements, risk assessments, completion, testing, O & M manuals, will be responsible for a profit margin on each project.
- Contact with Sub-Contractors to define and implement plans and projects.
- Site visits as and when necessary to ensure objectives are being met by others.
- To monitor, report and update on projects throughout their progress.
