About the role Warehouse Operative Role 

  • To handle goods received, help support in the warehouse functions and maintain stock count.

Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities

  • Unloading and signing for incoming deliveries
  • Book goods received in via computer
  • Place any goods received into the correct allocated places
  • Assist in picking the daily/weekly raw material for orders
  • Assist in de-coil coil on specific machinery
  • Maintain cleanliness of the yard/warehouse
  • Carry out perpetual inventory/stock checking
  • Help operatives in other units when supervisor is away

Warehouse Operative Specification

  • A Good level of communication via phone/emails
  • Adaptable, and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Previous experience in a warehouse is essential
  • Physical strength with the ability to lift heavy items throughout the day
  • Team worker but able to make informed decisions independently
  • Be able to work flexible hours
  • Product knowledge ideal but not essential
  • Forklift licence essential

Warehouse Operative Salary and Hours 

  • £21,000 - £22,000 negotiable, dependant on experience
  • Monday – Friday 6.30am – 4.00pm (45 Hours Per Week)

Process Engineer Duties:

  • Development of new and current manufacturing processes and improving efficiencies, utilisation, and reduction / elimination of all waste forms
  • Lead and participate with the project teams for all process related activities form initial ideas to implementation of processes, including costs and budget controls

Duties of Production Manager – Packaging

  • Manage and oversee operations in Packaging area

DUTIES OF THE LOGISTICS CO-ORDINATOR

  • Link between customers and manufacturing
  • Analyse the Supply Control Centre
  • Ensure correct logistics procedures are followed
  • Monitor CHEP counts in line with customer demands
  • Control special transport costs

Role Overview

  • The test development engineer team is a support team in the Product Development department.
