Pay, Hours and Benefits

  • £40,000 to £43,000
  • Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4pm, 12:30pm Finish on Friday’s

Role Purpose

  • The Project Manager will manage projects assigned to you to maximise profitability for completion of the project to the contracted standard, with the aim of achieving the contracted schedule with efficient use of resources
  • To manage the risk on your projects to maximise profitability and adherence to schedule and to resolve problems as they arise in projects, mobilising the appropriate expertise where necessary. In particular, to work with the Installation & Commissioning Manager on site problems.
  • You will also maintain good and regular communication with the Operations team, liaise with the customer, gaining early notice of any problems, manage changes to the project to the company’s advantage – selling modifications where appropriate and agreeing achievable changes to schedule and specification.

Project Manager Person Specification

  • You will be Degree qualified, or suitably experienced within a technical / process / project management environment.
  • Customer focused, commercially aware / realistic.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal – at all business levels.
  • Strong meeting management skills.
  • High level of PC literacy.
  • Decisive, analytical thinker – excellent prioritisation, organisational and problem-solving abilities. Positive “Can Do” attitude, not willing to accept status quo (looking to improve practices and profitability).
  • Flexible with some overseas travel.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Keep records (both paper and electronic) to allow reference during and after the project execution, and report project status to the business as required.
  • Collect payment from the customer when invoices become due, ensuring the relevant documentation is properly managed. Ensure company documentation is completed at the relevant stages of the project.
  • To obtain sign-off from the customer at the close of the project, agreeing the start of warranty and getting feedback on performance.
  • The Project Manager will ensure site work is correctly progressed, liaising with the Installation & Commissioning Manager as much as required. To ensure the customer is informed of progress and is aware of their responsibility to progress the project.
  • Provide sales support before order take, when required, ensure project risk is effectively reviewed and mitigated throughout its duration and plan the despatch schedule such that it suits contractual commitments and the installation schedule for maximum efficiency.
  • Attend project meetings at the customer site as required, which may involve international travel. Call/manage project related meetings as required to resolve problems and obtain clear action plans

The Role

  • This position would suit a proven Project Manager, who ideally has some Construction exposure.
  • Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will undertake any reasonable requests required within the role.
  • Managing and coordinating projects and timetables within client’s contracts. Department to ensure all objectives are met safely within timescale, current legislation and budget.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with the sales team to conduct the sales-contracts handover defining scope and objectives of each project.
  • Liaising with the client to arrange and undertake a pre-start meeting to ensure that scope and objectives are agreed.
  • Preparation and issuing a contract programme for agreement with all interested parties.
  • Ensure the Risk Assessments and Method Statements are compiled and issued to the client prior to commencing site activities.

The Role

The Project Engineer will identify the technical challenges of various projects and derive appropriate solutions, coupled with the necessary organisational skills to lead projects within the allocated timescale and budget. Project Engineer Person Specification

  • Any experience of rotating equipment projects/industry would be highly advantageous.
  • Qualified to either Bachelor or Master’s degree level in an engineering discipline with significant mechanical engineering content.
  • Experience in technical design and CAD, with the ability to produce 3D CAD conceptual designs and 2D sketches

MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

I am looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician role for a leading global organisation within the Manufacturing sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a team to provide breakdown cover and maintain machinery and Automation equipment.

The shifts for the Maintenance Electrician role are 4 on 4 off days and nights 6-6.

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

I am recruiting a very exciting Maintenance Engineer opportunity for a client based in Grantham. 

As a Maintenance Engineer your role will be to carry out planned maintenance across the Factory and Wastewater Treatment Plant.

You will complete PPMs and PTIs onsite whilst always ensuring that there is a proactive approach to planned maintenance.

The shift pattern for this role is an 8-week rotation and includes 12-hour shifts covering days, nights & weekends 4 on 4 off.
