SALES ADMINISTRATOR

This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Administrator who has previously worked in a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • Starting Salary - £21,000 - £25,000 – DOE

As a Sales Administrator your role will involve ensuring proper flow of office procedures and supporting the office managers by carrying out office duties. Your role will also involve processing orders from beginning to end, doing all the paperwork and purchasing new products.

Sales Administrator Duties:

  • Liaising with sales, dispatch & technical departments
  • Responding to technical queries received from all sources (email, phone, www, etc.)
  • Arrange meetings by scheduling appropriate meeting times & booking rooms
  • Handle expenses and billing cycles
  • Maintains stock lists and orders office supplies as needed
  • Answer phone calls and transfers them as necessary

Sales Administrator Requirements:

  • Experience working in Engineering or Motorsport is desirable but not essential 
  • The candidate must have experience working with Sage 
  • Check data accuracy in order and invoices
  • Comfortable processing orders and handling paperwork
  • Proven work experience as an administrator in the past
  • Hands-on experience working with CRM software

DUTIES OF IT SERVICE ENGINEER

  • Provide helpdesk service to all users, using an established ticking system
  • Providing solutions are delivered through technical solutions, hardware procurement and training
  • Supporting local active directory services
  • Deliver updates and identification of areas for improvement
  • Support users with education and guidance
  • Active directory support and maintenance
  • Assist with the roll-out of the Security framework
  • Minimise helpdesk resolution times
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers

REQUIREMENTS OF IT SERVICE ENGINEER

  • You will have relevant experience in helpdesk function looking after full user-lifecycle processes
  • Ideally, a relevant qualification in a related field, however equivalent experience is readily considered instead

Procurement Administrator 

We are working with an organisation that provides technology and state-of-the-art products to the Building Services industry, who are now seeing a fast return to pre-pandemic levels of orders and business for their products from their European customer base. 

Supporting the Project and Delivery TEAMS and the organisations global manufacturing facilities a Procurement Administrator is required to assist in coordinating various aspects of the procurement process for factored products and consumables.

Procurement Administrator Duties:

  • Raising purchase orders against ERP system driven demand.
  • Sourcing and purchasing of consumable items based on departmental demands.
  • Liaison with vendors to obtain and process orders acknowledgements.
  • Resolution of vendor invoice queries by challenging discrepancies and negotiating an outcome.
  • Analysis and resolution of problem consignments shipped via domestic and international couriers (late, lost etc)
  • Analysis of shipping spend patterns and identification of potential saving opportunities

Requirements for a Procurement Administrator 

  • A formal qualification in a Business / Logistics or Manufacturing or similar subject.
  • Have a good proven working knowledge of ERP and Ordering Software Systems (18 months+)

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Our world-leading client is looking for a Design Engineer, inside IR35. The initial assignment duration is 6 months with the possibility of extension.

This is a hybrid role, meaning you will be expected to work on site at Milton Keynes one day per week and will be working from home the rest of the time.

  • 6 months, possibly longer
  • £28.50 per hour (this role is inside IR35)

Mechanical Design Engineer Candidate Requirements

  • Creo CAD modelling (solid/surface) & design in context expertise essential, with an understanding of fundamental mechanical design.
  • Must be driven, a self-starter.
  • Degree in relevant engineering discipline with a minimum 2-years relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with plastic injection moulding / casting / fabrication design is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of fundamental mechanical design (DFM, DFA, static/dynamic loading, structural mechanics).
  • Expertise in selection of mechanical components, suitable materials & joining technologies to meet system requirements.
  • Experience following product development cycles & delivery of mechanical designs for key design gateways.
  • Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles from concept through to detail design.
  • Understanding of Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing leading to robust DFM & location strategies that aligns with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • This person will be responsible to deliver the design of components within the Mounting Systems commodity group for a commercial battery application.
  • Ensure a robust design and compatibility with other sub-systems and components (concept, design, quality, selection of right material and components and design for manufacturing).
  • Responsible for the specification, design & drawings of mechanical elements of their components.
  • The role will require an understanding of physical, informational, electrical & material interactions between components.
  • Deliver component requirements & meet quantitative targets (weight, cost, size) while ensuring a robust design that is right first time.
  • Ensure DFMEA, Engineering Specifications, Standards, Design Rules & Guidelines, Requirements, Statement of Work process/documents are effectively implemented in the design condition at the appropriate design maturity gateways.
  • Meet commodity timing plans to ensure the design team is able to deliver to critical program milestones.
  • Identify key mechanical failure modes & validation workstreams in order to capture these.
  • Lead issue resolution for mechanical component failures throughout validation.
  • Support Lead Engineers & Commodity owners with suppliers reviews through design phases, procurement of prototypes and production tooling development system multi-physics FEA models beneficial (static & dynamic).
