Duties of a Maintenance Supervisor  

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be required to lead the maintenance team ensuring that PM’s are undertaken to schedule whilst also managing breakdown situations, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a manufacturing, process or production environment. 

Requirements of a Maintenance Supervisor 

You must have gained your experience from working within a manufacturing or production environment with experience of either supervising or managing a maintenance team. Allied to holding either City & Guilds or NVQ accreditation within an Electrical or Mechanical discipline. 

The Maintenance Supervisor role is commutable from Birmingham, Erdington and Sutton Coldfield

Duties of a Maintenance Technician 

As a proven Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician you will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance across our plant, which will require you to have experience of supporting plant and equipment within either a fast-paced distribution, manufacturing, process or production environment.

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must be qualified either Electrically or Mechanically and ideally have some understanding of Plc Controls. 

However, you must be multi-skilled in your abilities. Having gained your Maintenance experience from supporting plant and equipment within a fast-paced distribution, manufacturing, process or production environment. 

The Maintenance Technician role is commutable from Castle Vale, Erdington, Minworth & Sutton Coldfield 

 

We are seeking to recruit a number of Multi-skilled Maintenance contractors to support our plant with a key project.  

You will be required to undertake both planned and reactive maintenance tasks to our wide range of production machinery that will require you to hold good multi skilled abilities.

Linked to your multi skilled abilities you must also hold some exposure to supporting Plc controls and robotic applications and ideally have undertaken three phase installation work. 

Ideally you will be apprentice trained but must hold formal qualifications electrically to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard, having gained your maintenance experience within a fast moving manufacturing or production environment. 

In return for your skills and experience we offer a negotiable hourly rate and ongoing work for up to six months. 
 
*Please note that as this project falls inside IR35, we will have to pay you via a FCSA accredited Umbrella.

Duties of an CNC Maintenance Technician

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimising our multi-axis CNC technology. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on our CNC systems.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Conducting repairs and ensuring equipment operates efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements of a CNC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

Duties of a Handyman

  • As an experienced Handyman you will be required to undertake “hands on” tasks across our facility. 
  • The role will see you being involved in undertaking a wide range of FM work such as basic brickwork, carpentry, painting and plumbing.

I have a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy, high-volume production site in Bilston near Wolverhampton. My client is well established within its field and produces some big brand products for the likes of Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. They are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer who will have an understanding of Siemens S7 and have worked in a heavy engineering environment. 

This position would be ideal for someone with plant maintenance skills and a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. You will be working a continental shift pattern, and you will be paid a lifestyle bonus of £47 for every weekend day worked (excluding overtime). This will take your salary to around £50,589.

  • Although this role is not a mobile fitter role, they will be expected to go out to sites to attend breakdowns and general repairs, so need to have a driving licence. 
  • Experience with JCB’s and CAT
  • Welding and fabrication

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all Chemical Engineering is compliant
  • HAZOP assessments
  • Design, implement and commission plant modifications, modifications to existing plant
  • Hazard assessments
  • Working closely with the Projects team to help develop the plant design, layout, costings and proposals
  • Provide technical expertise
  • Developing new processes and existing ones
  • Exposure to COMAH regulations would be advantageous as would DSEAR methodology
