METROLOGY ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating CMM programs, utilising PC-DIMIS
- Evaluate measurement data
- Daily planning and scheduling of metrology workloads
- Conduct and complete set ups, measurements and interpretations for part investigations
- Creating measurement programs for CMM with or without CAD model
- Drawing up initial sample test reports as per the VDA and PPAP template
- Calibration of gauges, maintain measuring equipment
- Re-qualification inspections
- SPC
REQUIREMENTS
- It is essential that you have relevant CMM Programming experience
- Ideally PC-DMIS
- Any QUINDOS knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential
- To have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of PPAP’s and SPC
- Good level of IT Literacy
