INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER

A global Manufacturing firm are looking to hire a new Internal Sales Engineer with experience in the Manufacturing industry. The company design and manufacture components and systems for the Automotive industry and are a world-renowned industry leader in their field.  

This role will suit someone with a Manufacturing background who can deliver great customer experience and is able to liaise with customers on a consistent basis.

Internal Sales Engineer Duties: 

  • Take enquiries from Customers on the telephone or email all day
  • Help customers with any product enquiries 
  • Assist the Internal Sales Team Leader if asked
  • Perform general administrative duties 
  • Process order and complete order paperwork on time
  • Familiarize yourself with the company’s product list 
  • Have a close relationship with the customer and update them throughout the order process 
  • Keep track of the company’s targets

Internal Sales Engineer Requirements:

  • German speaking would be ideal but is not essential 
  • Strong level of Maths skills 
  • Able to deliver excellent customer service 
  • Achieved grade A-C in Maths and English GCSE’S
  • Hold either a ONC, HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering 
  • Technical Manufacturing experience 
  • Strong commercial acumen

STOCK CONTROLLER

The Stock Controller Benefits include:

  • £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • To set up and run a PI plan for warehouse operations to physically count
  • Make sage stock adjustments from submitted counts
  • Investigate and correct stock issues, checking sage/physical stock discrepancies and fill in a summary report
  • Sorting and labelling locations
  • Investigating when ‘Free Stock’ appears and amending sage, completing summary report
  • The Stock Controller should be able to Organise yearly stocktake

Candidate Specification

  • The Stock Controller should demonstrate excellent computer skills
  • Should have a knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • The Stock Controller should have Sage Experience
  • At Least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail is essential 

Bill of Material (BOM’s)

  • Analyse BOM to ensure the material is correct.
  • Ensure the times within each process are correct
  • Working with the production team to ensure BOM details are updated to reflect current operations

PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Press Brake Operator Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up, adjust and prepare press brake (Current machines) Amada, Edwards Pearson.
  • Finding correct tooling/program per set-up.
  • Check the heights of tooling and adjust back stops etc. along with light guards.
  • Set-up and adjustment of material for folding at correct height.
  • Locating programs and adjust tonnage and tooling for each part being formed.
  • Provide feedback to Production Manager all jobs not meeting set-up and/or production standards.
  • Producing folded parts to drawings supplied, measuring with Vernier Caliper, Protractors etc.
  • Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.

Press Brake Operator Specification

  • This person will work well on their own and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • He/she will need to be well driven.
  • The appropriate person must have a keen eye for detail, and ability to read drawings.
  • They must have pride in their work and maintain a tidy safe workspace.
  • Must be reliable, and physically fit.
  • Good mathematical ability and able to use measuring devices such as Vernier callipers and protractors.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced-team environment.

This is an important position within the R&D team, the Electronics Engineer will be key in driving the development of new audio products from initial design, through to production and post-production maintenance.

Electronics Engineer Candidate Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Audio Electronics / Electronics Engineering or similar engineering subject.
  • 2+ years’ commercial experience in electronic design, ideally in audio electronics.
  • Audio experience working with ADC/DAC (Analogue/Digital Converters) and associated components, Op-amps etc.
  • High speed digital electronics experience, working with microcontrollers, DSPs etc.
  • PCB layout experience.
  • You must be a Guitar player.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • The Electronics Engineer will be assisting with the design, input and modification of digital & analogue electronic schematics, with guidance from the Chief Engineer and wider team.
  • Undertaking the building and testing of electronic prototypes.
  • Advising and assisting with the sourcing of components for prototype production and testing.
  • Writing and performing new audio product tests, recording and presenting results.
  • Setting up test environments.
  • Brainstorming new product ideas and technical requirements/ specifications. Communicating with UK and overseas teams on project-specific topics.
  • The Electronics Engineer will be assisting other day-to day technical activities of the R&D department. Possible, infrequent overseas travel as required - this is not essential, however can be an exciting opportunity for an engineer to broaden their knowledge and experience
