This is a fantastic opportunity for the APQP Engineer to be the face of an exciting automotive organisation who pride themselves with their technical excellence and outstanding customer service.  This company is committed and are growing from strength to strength.  They are in need of a strong, Launch Manufacturing Engineer to help steer this and continue the improvement and processes to deliver outstanding results.

The APQP Engineer’s Responsibilities are to:

  • Maintenance of the PDP project requirements
  • Maintenance of customer specific systems in cooperation and agreement with the relevant customer employees
  • Presentation of our project status in customer SE team meetings
  • Supporting to develop specifications within the project phase based on technical customer requirements
  • Coordination of corrective actions and follow up
  • Support of project related Product and process FMEA´s
  • Support to determine product requirements and specifications for purchased parts
  • Support of specifications for test method (dimensional and functional devises)
  • Maintenance of part specific validation plans for prototypes in agreement with customer relevant divisions
  • Coordination of internal and external tests based on part specific validation plans
  • Maintaining of part specific validation plans in regards of progress
  • Realizing internal process audits and coordination of customer process approvals in cooperation with plant divisions
  • Coordination of PPAP in cooperation with production facilities.


The APQP Engineer will have:

  • Manufacturing Engineering development skills
  • Technical knowledge of current automotive processes and product
  • Excellent knowledge of advanced quality and continuous improvement tools
  • Good knowledge of Six Sigma or other process methodology
  • 3-5 years Experience at APQP Engineer level  in an automotive Tier 1 or OEM environment
