This company are a well-established West Norfolk practice of consulting engineers with extensive experience in the East of England, which extends over 30 years. Staff are highly qualified, loyal and committed to delivering high quality, cost effective solutions to their clients.

The company have particular expertise in the design of building structures, and also have considerable experience in many other associated disciplines and can offer professional services, not restricted to structural and civil engineering, but embracing the full spectrum of building and construction.


Due to organic growth this small long established firm of Consulting Structural and Civil Engineers requires a Chartered Structural Engineer to join their team. 

Their busy workload varies from small domestic alterations to large new build projects.  Much of their work is to do with altering/extending existing buildings, some of historic interest.

Workload will range from carrying out structural inspections of buildings and preparing reports, domestic alteration projects through to large commercial new build and refurbishment schemes.  The successful candidate must be prepared to produce calculations and drawings themselves.


The company are looking for a Chartered Engineer with at least 3 years post Chartered experience.  The candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven ability to run projects and communicate effectively with clients, Architects and other professionals.  Good written skills are essential.  Preparing fee proposals and monitoring project costs will be an important part of the job.

This Engineering practice is one of two complementary companies, the other offering Architectural Services.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Architectural team.
