Duties of a Junior Maintenance Technician    

  • As a proven Engineer, you will be required to operate our complex production plant, alongside undertaking preventive and first line maintenance activities. 

Requirements of a Junior Maintenance Technician    

  • You must have experience of operating complex production equipment where you have undertaken basic maintenance checks.

OR

  • Have recently completed your Maintenance Apprenticeship and keen to develop your maintenance skills further within a new engineering arena. 

Alongside your experience you will ideally be apprentice trained but MUST be qualified Electrically and have (as a minimum) fault finding abilities with Plc Controls and ideally Robot technology.

Duties of an CNC Maintenance Technician

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimising our multi-axis CNC technology. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on our CNC systems.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
  • Conducting repairs and ensuring equipment operates efficiently.

Requirements of a CNC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • We are looking for an Apprentice trained engineer. 
  • Holding a ONC / City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical engineering 
  • Also holding their 18th IEE Wiring regulations. 
  • Flexibility is key as there will also be a call out Rota in place – rotating Weekly.

To promote a positive environment which engineering is seen by management, employees, neighbours, customers, and other off-site agencies as being fundamental to the company’s day to day operations.  Ensure policies, programmes, systems, procedures, and registrations are developed and maintained to meet company and regulatory requirements.

Day to Day Requirements: 

  • Support the effective running of production.
  • Attend Management meetings as and when required.
  • Regular review of production schedule with Planning Manager to identify planned maintenance opportunities.
  • Ensure the Maintenance Management Software is updated and utilised effectively and in the absence of the Engineering Coordinator is resourced efficiently.
  • Manage calibration, testing schedules and associated record keeping.
  • Manage all engineering regulatory inspection schedules and associated documentation for compliance to the standards required and associated record keeping.
  • Regular review of production schedule with Planning Manager to identify planned maintenance opportunities.
  • Ideally, we are looking for a Multi-Skilled Split. Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge. 
  • Holding a Formal qualification in Engineering – Level 3 
  • Previous experience within a management role. 
  • Previous experience within a Chemical Plant or Heavy engineering.
