DUTIES OF PRESS SETTER
- Setting large Transfer and progression presses
- Training and mentoring others
- Safety checks on equipment
- Quality checks
- Driving SMED activity
- Running / loading material and tools
- Escalation of issues
- Involvement in tooling trials
- Completing complex tool changes
- Deputising for Team Leader
REQUIREMENTS OF PRESS SETTER
- It is essential that you have relevant Press Setting experience.
- For Senior level / Team Leader, - Supervisory experience
- To have worked in a continuous improvement environment
- This would suit an energetic, ambitious and motivated individual.
